A type of tourism activity in which the visitor’s essential motivation is to learn, discover, experience and consume the tangible and intangible cultural attractions/products in a tourism destination. These attractions/products relate to a set of distinctive material, intellectual, spiritual and emotional features of a society that encompasses arts and architecture, historical and cultural heritage, culinary heritage, literature, music, creative industries and the living cultures with their lifestyles, value systems, beliefs and traditions”.

Pakistan was ranked The Best Holiday Destination for 2020 and was also declared the third-highest potential adventure destination in the world for 2020

In 2018, the British Backpacker Society ranked Pakistan the world’s top adventure travel destination, describing the country as “one of the friendliest countries on earth, with mountain scenery that is beyond anyone’s wildest imagination” Forbes ranked Pakistan as one of the ‘coolest places’ to visit in 2019.The World Economic Forum’s Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report placed Pakistan in the top 25 per cent of global destinations for its World Heritage sites, which range from the mangroves in the Indus delta to the Indus Valley Civilization sites including Mohenjo-daro and Harappa.

Pakistan is rich for their cultural tourism activities, 74 different languages are speaking in the country , All of then have their own cultural and tradition , starting from south of Pakistan , Thari cultural , Bloch cultural, sindhi cultural , Bangali Cultural , and many more in North and South of sindh. Punjab is  rich for their cultural and tradition, Saraiki cultural , Punjabi cultural, Within Punjabi their are many tribes  and south of Punjab  and north of sindh is also famous for sofism . KPK province is have link with different borders  and their peoples also have unique cultural disvistry like , Pakton cultural , Kalash Cultural, Chitrali cultural, Khostani cultural and haraza cultual . The same cultural diversity in Balochistan , Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
